In between
As I spent the last week with the wonderful notion of updating my blog, but, as you all realised, never got around to it I’m starting a new update here, from my iPhone, sitting in my fluffbuttling chair.
Since my last post a lot has happened. Or maybe not. Lies in the eye of the beholder.
Some things I want to tell you about, some I like to keep to myself and some you really don’t want to know. Trust me.
First of all, I finally got myself to bleach my hair and dye it green.
It’s such a great experience and I get so much positiv feedback from coworkers as well as strangers that I just wish I could leave it permanently dyed.
Especially now that I have the colour in for, erm about 4 weeks, my roots are growing out nearly a cm already and the tips are turning bright green-blond.
With hair my length I just couldn’t be bothered to do a root touchup.
But I realise that a complete bleaching every 4 weeks isn’t a great or healthy solution either.
I just feel like I could spend the rest of 2009 just dyeing my hair all kind of weird and bright colours. I tasted something fun and now want more. My fault for not getting it out of my system when I was a teen I assume.
But on the other hand I don’t want to push my luck at work. People reacted really great to the green – even the managers. Fair play to them I must say. Didn’t expect them to be that positiv about it.
But if I start changing my colour once a month they might decide to have a talk with me…
Bending the rules as much as possible without making them snap is a skill and tremendous fun; breaking rules is for amateurs and troublemaker.
Actually I think I should probably finish up this post as I can’t really think about much else but dyeing my hair and wishing I was a teenager again – (or for the first time?)
So in closing, I’m still here, alive and kicking. With my weird ideas and twisted priorities.
